Privacy Policy
Effective May 10, 2026
Figment Analytics LLC (“Apex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Apex, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Apex website and related services (the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account data: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash) when you register.
- Payment data: if you subscribe, billing information is collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; we receive limited identifiers (e.g., last four digits, brand, subscription status) needed to operate your account.
- User content: charts, dashboards, filters, and other configurations you create within the Service.
- Communications: messages you send us, such as support requests.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, referring URL, approximate timestamps, and similar interaction data.
- Device data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Local storage and cookies: we use browser localStorage to store authentication tokens (access and refresh tokens) so you stay signed in, and we may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, and basic analytics.
2. How We Use Information
- to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- to create and manage your account and process subscriptions;
- to communicate with you about your account, transactions, and updates;
- to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- to comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms;
- to develop new features and analyze how the Service is used in aggregate.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: vendors who help us operate the Service, including hosting providers, our database provider, our payment processor (Stripe), and email/communications providers. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Apex, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our assets, in which case information may be transferred subject to this Policy.
- With your consent: any other sharing described to you at the time of collection or with your direction.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, including resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at the address below.
5. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No security measure is perfect, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
